The North Texas Global Entrepreneurial Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance for international trade training to small -midsized businesses in the North Texas region. This funding is made possible by the support of educational institutions, banks, and other community organizations. Under this program, qualified businesses are eligible to receive a matching grant of up to $100 to be used towards a training program offered at the International Trade Center SBDC.

Eligibility

Applicants to the North Texas Global Entrepreneurial Scholarship Fund must:

• Be a small business or entrepreneur with less than 500 employees

• Be located in the 49-counties served by the North Texas Small Business Development Center Network.

• Operate a business with a viable and tangible product or service

• Allow the SBDC to use your company name and/or photograph on our website(s), newsletters, success stories or other marketing material.

• Participate in economic impact surveys or success story submissions to SBA.

Policies and Caveats

Scholarship funds are applicable only during the semester awarded and will not be applied retroactively. Any unused funds will be forfeited.

The International Trade Center SBDC reserves the right to make final determination on all awards and disbursement eligibility decisions.
