International Sales Director
Our client is seeking a highly driven, professional individual for the position of Director of International Sales to be based in thier facilty near Dallas,Texas facility. The primary focus of this position will be in Mexico as well as the Caribbean.
 
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate plans, directs, and coordinates the international sales of this client's products and services.

 

Requirements:
For the continuing success of the company, it is essential that the Director of International Sales appropriately display a strong sense of responsibility, urgency and integrity in their previous professional history. The additional qualifications are needed for a successful candidate:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in finance, marketing, international business or equivalent. Master’s in Business administration is preferred.
7+ years of experience in the building and or construction materials business, preferably in the plumbing business
5+ years of progressive business development,international business experience and managing a sucessfull sales team. 
Significant experience managing and developing international business opportunities for a domestic company.
Demonstrated market research and analytical skills.
Ability to organize information, manage tasks and analyze data.
Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is a must
Plumbing industry experience a plus
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook with strong written and oral communication skills.
A commitment to work safety and positive problem resolution

  • Establishes international strategic sales goals to meet corporate objectives and increase market share and profitability of products and services worldwide.
     
  • Develops and localizes comprehensive sales plans and programs for international regions, consistent with market demands and long-term profitability.
     
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors of international markets to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
     
  • Develops and manages international sales budget
  • Evaluates long-term potential of representation in new international markets, generates bid and proposal strategies, and produces and presents proposals.
     
  • Develops and recommends regional product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies to produce the highest possible long-term international market share.
     
  • Oversees and evaluates international market research and adjusts sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions in each region.
     
  • Conducts international marketing surveys on current and new product concepts, and provides feedback for future product development related to international market.
